Fortesca

Switch from MyFitnessPal and keep your history.

Fortesca is a free tracker for food, fasting and training. Barcode scanning is free, there are no ads, and nothing is locked. Your food log, weigh-ins and workouts come with you in a few minutes.

Start the switchSee the steps

Works with MyFitnessPal, Lose It, Cronometer, MacroFactor, Strong and Hevy, or any spreadsheet with dates and weights.

Three steps

Export, set up, pick the file.

1. Export from your old app

Every app below lets you download your data. The exact menu for each is just under these steps.

2. Set up Fortesca

About a minute: your weight, height and goal. No account, no email.

3. Pick the export file

Fortesca shows what it found before anything is saved. Importing the same file twice adds nothing twice, and on days you already logged in Fortesca, your Fortesca numbers stay.

Nothing is uploaded

The file is read on your phone. It never goes to a server, ours included.

Questions
Does Fortesca cost anything?

No. It's free during early access, with no ads and no features held back.

Do I need an account?

No. Your log lives on your phone. If you want it on a second device, turn on sync with Face ID, a fingerprint or a sync code; it's encrypted before it leaves the phone.

Will my foods and recipes come over?

Your logged foods come over with their calories and macros, day by day. Saved meals and recipes from other apps don't, but anything you've logged becomes one tap to add again.

Is it on the App Store?

Not yet. Open fortesca.app in Safari or Chrome and add it to your home screen; it then opens like an app and works offline.
